A lifelong and self-taught artist, Chelsea was raised on the beaches of New Jersey. She pursued a degree in Ecology at Rutgers University and moved to Colorado in 2008 where she worked as an environmental scientist for a large consulting firm. Chelsea longed for change and eventually moved to New York City where she rediscovered her love for art.
Chelsea left the corporate world in 2015 to travel around the United States and beyond. It was on that adventure when she found the quaint town of Astoria where she finally relocated in February of 2017.
Chelsea has been hosting paint parties since August 2015 when she wanted to do something special for her mom's birthday. Other people heard about it and got in on the action - the rest is history!
Chelsea spends her spare time crocheting hats and baby toys, designing greeting cards, learning Spanish, and spoiling her dog. You can find some of her other interests in her Etsy shop.
